NSION Technologies and RapidSOS Partner to Deliver Live Situational Awareness Data to 911

Through this partnership, NSION Technologies will give 911 telecommunicators access to drone, smartphone, bodycams, dashcams, CCTV and IP cameras, live video, audio feeds, and data securely via the RapidSOS Portal.

New York, NY – 6/18/2021 NSION Technologies and RapidSOS announced today a partnership to provide emergency first responders and 911 telecommunicators with the ability to access the NSC3™ Platform within RapidSOS Portal, a solution for Emergency Communication Centers (ECC) that provides critical data to 911 telecommunicators and first responders.

Today, telecommunicators in the U.S. and around the world are forced to rely on the limited information a phone call can provide, often resulting in dispatching delays and first responders arriving on scene under-informed. With this partnership,  ECCs will be able to  access live streaming video, photos, live audio stream, in-event Push-To-Talk features, and text messages from NSION-powered devices via RapidSOS Portal – providing a coordinated end-to-end response from the caller facing an emergency to first responders in the field.

“NSION Technologies has a track record of bringing life-saving technology and innovation to public safety,” said Jessica Reed, Vice President of Strategy and Global Partners at RapidSOS. “Working to transform emergency response requires a partnership approach, and we continuously look for industry leaders such as NSION Technologies to integrate with RapidSOS Portal.”

The RapidSOS and NSION Technologies solution shares life-saving data from NSION applications and various video management systems to responders who are on the way to the scene, providing unprecedented situational awareness of the unfolding event. All shared data between stakeholders is automatically recorded and securely stored in the NSC3™ Platform as event evidence with a full chain of custody.

“When a Second is a Lifetime, NSION Technologies provides secure data for split second responder decision-making,” said George Davis, Vice President Systems Integration at NSION Technologies. “Partnering with RapidSOS provides NSION Technologies a solid integration platform to reach the responders who need the information we provide.”

The RapidSOS and NSION Technologies solution will become available to Emergency Communication Centers with access to RapidSOS Portal in Summer 2021.
