Forest or Wildfire

NSC3 can broadcast thermal view from the drone. This enables firefighters to see through the smoke and detect hot spots on the ground.

When fighting a wildfire, seconds count to make life-saving decisions. Fire behavior has multiple elements like terrain, fuel types, density and moisture, wind direction, humidity, the rapid growth of the perimeter, and weather conditions.

  • The Drone pilot has an excellent view of a wildfire situation. NSC3 enables an easy way to share the same view to fire chiefs and individual firefighters, whether in the operations room or on the field.
  • Drone video footage is captured by the NSC application and broadcasted to the ongoing task force fighting wildfire. The drone location is visible on the map, so you know where the stream is coming from. The Push-To-Talk feature enables all firefighters to communicate with a drone pilot and request aerial view wherever it is needed.
  • NSC3 can also broadcast thermal view from the drone. This enables firefighters to see through the smoke and detect the hot spots on the ground.
  • Often wildfires happen outside of good network coverage. NSC3 incorporates a unique engine monitoring network capacity and adjusting the broadcast to fit the capacity of the network. Video may not be super smooth, but you get images through even in 2G or radio-based networks, and images you see are always in real-time.
  • Commanders and field crews can get real-time information to make life-saving decisions fast and in a secure environment. NSC3 enables higher awareness of the situation as it unfolds.

From the moment that the wildfire is detected until the last embers are out, NSC3 can be the eyes and ears of your organization.
